Edward Bray, born on November 16, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully in his hometown on April 6, 2025. Edward was a dedicated foreman at Polk Mechanical Co, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and leadership abilities.
Known for his bubbly personality and goofy sense of humor, Edward had the unique gift of lighting up any room he entered. He was a kind-hearted individual who enjoyed engaging in playful banter, often filling conversations with laughter and light-hearted trash talk. His ability to connect with others endeared him to friends and colleagues alike, leaving a lasting impression that will not be forgotten.
Throughout his life, Edward enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought him joy and relaxation. He loved dancing, taking pride in his ability to let loose and enjoy the rhythm of life. Fishing and hunting were also passions of his, where he found solace in nature and the thrill of the catch. A fervent sports enthusiast, Edward was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Dallas Mavericks, passionately supporting his teams and sharing his enthusiasm with those around him.
Edward's life will be celebrated with a Wake Service on April 16, 2025, beginning at 8:30 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at Community Missionary Baptist Church in DeSoto on April 17, 2025, starting at 1:00 PM.
As family and friends gather to honor Edward’s memory, they will undoubtedly share countless stories that highlight his vibrant spirit, love of life, and the cherished moments spent together. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, forever remembering the warmth and joy he brought to their lives.
