ELAINE MARIE SMITH

Elaine Marie Smith, born on October 12, 1958, in New Bern, North Carolina, passed away on November 20, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. She was a beacon of warmth and kindness, known for her sweet disposition and loving spirit that welcomed everyone with open arms.

Throughout her life, Elaine embodied strength and compassion, touching the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. She embraced every moment with an enthusiasm that made her a cherished friend, mother, grandmother, sister, family member, and neighbor. Elaine had a true zest for life and her hobbies reflected her vibrant personality. She found joy in cooking, sharing delightful meals that brought friends and family together. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, she passionately cheered for her team, combining her love for football with her dynamic presence during game days.

Elaine's legacy will be celebrated in a series of services held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on December 3, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM, followed by a wake service at 7:15 PM. The culmination of her farewell will take place with a funeral service on December 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM.  

Elaine’s unwavering kindness and immense love for others will continue to resonate within all who knew her. Her indelible spirit serves as a reminder of the power of compassion and the importance of holding loved ones close. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
