ELLA REE TILLMON

Ella Tillmon, a beloved social worker known for her vibrant personality and passionate spirit, departed this life on June 6, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 82. Born on April 30, 1943, in Mansfield, Louisiana, Ella dedicated her life to the noble profession of social work, where she touched the lives of many with her compassion and understanding.

Ella was not only a committed professional but also a person who brought joy and laughter to those around her. Known for her funny demeanor and candid nature, Ella had a unique ability to spread cheer, often delighting friends with her no-filter conversations and light-hearted gossip. Her love for puzzles and reading showcased her inquisitive mind, while her passion for journaling allowed her to express her innermost thoughts. In her leisure time, she enjoyed watching westerns and was particularly fond of court shows, frequently tuning in to programs like Judge Judy, Judge Mathis, and the Jerry Springer Show.

Ella's vibrant spirit will be honored during visitation on June 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on June 14, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM at Friendship M.B.C, situated at 725 Perry Avenue, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
