ELMER JAMES POLK

Elmer James Polk, a beloved husband and cherished friend, passed away on July 2, 2024, in Arlington, Texas. He was born on November 6, 1946, in Centerville, Texas.

Elmer's lively and outgoing personality endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a remarkable ability to connect with others and make them laugh. His love for his family was evident in every moment spent together.

He is reunited with his loving wife, Jo Ann Polk who shared many wonderful years by his side. Elmer's memory will be forever cherished by his family and friends.

A Funeral Service to honor and remember Elmer will be held on August 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Following the service, a Burial will take place at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.

In loving memory of Elmer James Polk – a man who brightened the lives of those around him with his infectious laughter and warm spirit. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
