Elvis Pryor was born to the lineage of the late Claude Pryor and Eliza Wynn Pryor on June 10, 1945. Being the youngest of 12, he was loved by all of his family and grew up with his nieces and nephews as sisters and brothers.
He attended Sulphur Springs School District. He worked within the community that he greatly supported.
He met and married Ida Murrell and to this marriage two lovely daughters, Vickie Lee (Reginald) of Sulphur Springs and Carla Jackson of Emory, TX; two grandsons; three granddaughters; three great grandsons.
Elvis was the best example of II Corinthians 5:17- “ Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away: behold are things become new.” He gave his life to Christ on the 1st day of June, 1997 from that day forward he had a new walk.
He was baptized and served faithfully until his death at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
He will be greatly missed by all family and friends. But we will rejoice in knowing he is present with the Lord and his family in Heaven.
