EMMITT MALONE

Emmitt transitioned peacefully from this life the morning of October 9, 2021, after a gradual decline in health.

Emmitt Ervin Malone “Uncle Emmitt” was born September 4, 1947 to his loving parents David and Era Malone. Which placed him in the second set of six and in the “middle” of Kathryn and Jerry (the infamous three)

He accepted Christ at an early age where he was a member of Christland Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas under the ministerial guidance of his uncle Robert L. Wingham.

Emmitt was educated in Fort Worth ISD where he attend Paul L Dunbar (the home of the MIGHTY MIGHTY

Wildcats) where he was the 1st string quarter back until a shoulder injury. After graduation in 1967 Emmitt attended Paul Quinn College in Waco Texas.

Emmitt being the warm kind hearted smooth talker…talked his way into the heart of his high school sweetheart Brenda Joyce Newton and they united in holy matrimony November 28, 1969. God blessed their union for 51 years. To their union a son was born Eran Detrick Malone whom he had an overwhelming love for.
