It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Era Faye Cornelius, who departed this life on February 22, 2026, at The Harrison at Heritage. Born on July 20, 1943, in Ft. Worth, Texas, Era lived a vibrant and dedicated life, contributing to her community both personally and professionally.

Era worked as an assembler in the aircraft division of General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin, where her precision and attention to detail made her a valued member of the team. Known for being a stickler for English and math, she was not only passionate about her work but also instilled in those around her a love for learning and excellence in their endeavors.

Outside of her professional life, Era enjoyed shopping in her spare time, finding joy in the little things and engaging in the activities that brought her happiness. Her interests reflected her vibrant spirit, and she had an innate ability to brighten any room she entered.

Era's memory will be honored through a viewing on March 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M.  Both services will be held at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2823 North Houston Street in Fort Worth, Texas.

As we remember Era Faye Cornelius, we celebrate a life that was well-lived, filled with dedication, passion, and a commitment to excellence. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
