Eugene Howell Jr., a beloved figure in his community, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on January 1, 1936, Eugene lived a life characterized by his loving and caring nature, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.

As a family-oriented individual, Eugene took great pride in his relationships, cherishing the moments spent with his loved ones. His warm smile and happy demeanor brought joy to many, making him a treasured friend and confidant.

In honoring Eugene's memory, the community is invited to gather for a viewing on February 22, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. This will be followed by a funeral service on February 23, 2026, at New Leaf Missionary Baptist Church, starting at 11:00 AM, at 5044 Veterans Drive, Dallas, TX 75241.
