EVENT ROBINSON JR, affectionately known as "Joe" or "Sonny," was born on April 8, 1935, in Corsicana, Texas. He passed away peacefully in Dallas, Texas, on June 26, 2025, leaving a legacy of dedication to education and service.

A devoted educator, Event Robinson Jr. earned a Master’s Degree in Education and dedicated his life to teaching and inspiring countless students. In addition to his impactful career in education, he also worked as a realtor and held several other jobs throughout his life, embodying a commitment to hard work and community service.

Event's warm personality and generous spirit endeared him to many. His nickname, "Joe," reflected the amiable and approachable nature that he carried throughout his life, making connections with people from all walks of life.

Family, friends, and community members are invited to celebrate his remarkable life during the viewing on July 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. The funeral service will be held the following day, July 12, 2025, at Good Street Baptist Church at 11:00 AM.

Event Robinson Jr. will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege to know him and be influenced by his wisdom and kindness. His contributions to his profession and community will remain a cherished part of his enduring legacy.
