Floyd Logan II

Floyd Logan II, born February 13, 1947, passed away on September 7, 2026.

He will be remembered as a funny and straight forward man who lived life by his own rhythm. That spirit could be felt in the way he moved through the world and in the music he loved to make. Floyd played guitar and played piano, bringing expression, energy, and personality to those around him through the instruments he enjoyed.

His life carried a distinct rhythm of honesty, and individualism that was unmistakably his own. Whether sharing a laugh, speaking his mind, or sitting down to play, Floyd left an impression of everyone who embraced life in a way that was true to himself. His presence will be remembered with affection by those who knew him and by all who appreciated his humor, his candor, and the music he brought into the world.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on September 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1188 West Broad Street, Mansfield, TX 76063. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., also at Bethlehem Baptist Church.
