FRANK JESSIE

Frank Jessie was born April 28, 1936, to the late Nelson and Febbie Jessie in Corsicana, Texas. Frank married Gladys Mae Williams, and to this union five children were born. He was a faithful member of Bexar Street Baptist Church 50+ years where he served on the Usher Board, as well as singing in the choir and male chorus until his health began to fail. Frank was preceded in death by his ex-wife Gladys Jessie, his parents Nelson & Febbie Jessie; five sisters Lela Bryant, Barbara Jean, Frankie Mae Bryant, Tessi Mae Majors, and Ruth Lee Mullins, and five brothers, James Jessie, Carnell Jessie, Nelson Jessie Jr., Charles Jessie, and Fred Jessie. Frank leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Curtis Jessie, Michael Jessie, Michael Jessie, Steve Jessie, Carl Jessie and Gladys Faye Claiborne (John); one brother Veo Jessie; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
