FREDA MAE WHITE, a vibrant soul and proud Dallas native, graced this world with her laughter and warmth from April 5, 1955, until her departure on August 10, 2025. Born and raised in the heart of Dallas, Texas, Freda's exuberance for life and her indomitable spirit left a lasting mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A graduate of Kimball High School in 1973, Freda carried with her the lessons learned, forging a life underscored by her outspoken nature and her tremendous generosity. She was an unwavering supporter of her beloved Dallas Cowboys, often playfully referring to herself as "Mrs. Dak." Her passion for football was only matched by her fervent love for her family, a love that flowed even more profoundly when it came to her children and grandchildren.
Freda served honorably in the U.S. Army, showcasing a sense of duty that mirrored the depth of her character. Her commitment to service and community reflected the big-heartedness that she exhibited in every aspect of her life. Friends and family will forever cherish the memories created under her loving gaze.
With humility and pride, Freda celebrated her greatest accomplishments: her children and grandchildren, the anchors of her heart. Her legacy shines brightly in the lives she touched, including the delight she felt when she witnessed the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader squad come to life, a testament to her belief in dreams and the joy that comes with fulfilling them.
Freda Mae White's spirit lives on in the laughter of her grandchildren and the cherished stories shared around the dinner table. As we gather to honor her memory, let us take solace in the rich tapestry of love, courage, and joy she leaves behind.
