DALLAS, TX

Freddie Lee Curry, born January 25, 1962, in Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away on September 11, 2026, in Dallas, Texas.

Freddie was remembered as a funny, caring, and generous man whose big personality filled every room he entered. He carried himself with a warmth that drew people near and left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him. His spirit was lively and memorable, marked by kindness and a natural way of bringing joy to others.

He found pleasure in basketball and in writing songs, pursuits that reflected both his energy and his creativity. Whether enjoying the game or putting thoughts into music, Freddie expressed himself in ways that spoke to his heart and to the people around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Orma Curry, and by his brother, Larry Curry.

He leaves to cherish his memory his three sisters, Francile Curry McCottry, Ruby Lee Curry, and Erma Jean Curry, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and Brentwood Place II  family.  May the love they shared with Freddie, and the memories they hold of his laughter, generosity, and unmistakable presence, bring comfort in the days ahead.

Freddie Lee Curry will be remembered with affection for the life he lived, the joy he gave, and the love he shared so freely. His memory remains a blessing to all who knew him.
