GEORGIA MAE WILSON

Georgia Mae Wilson, a devoted nurse and cherished member of her community, passed away on June 9, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 86. Born on September 18, 1938, in Frierson, Louisiana, Georgia led a life marked by compassion, dedication, and a commitment to caring for others.

Throughout her career as a nurse, Georgia made a profound impact on the lives she touched, providing comfort and care to countless patients. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering patience were hallmarks of her profession, and she was respected by colleagues and loved by those she served.

Georgia’s journey came to a close in the vibrant city of Dallas, where she spent her final years, embracing life with warmth and grace. Her professional legacy is complemented by her warm personality, which endeared her to family members and friends alike.

The community is invited to celebrate her life. A viewing will be held on June 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the viewing, a funeral service will take place on June 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1101 Rev CBT Smith Street, Dallas, TX 75203.
