A viewing in honor of Gertha Mae Vation will be held on August 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects during these hours.

A funeral service celebrating her life will take place on August 22, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM at GODS EXCITING CATHEDRAL OF PRAISE, 1430 North Polk Street, DeSoto, TX 75115. All are welcome to join in remembrance and gratitude for Gertha Mae’s enduring love and the happiness she brought to so many.
