It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Gladys Eugene Jones, who transitioned peacefully in Dallas, Texas, on September 27, 5, one day after her 99th birthday. Born on September 26, 1926, in Bryant, Texas, Gladys lived a long and fulfilling life, enriched by the love of family, friends, and her community.
Throughout her life, Gladys was known for her kindness, strength, and unwavering spirit. She touched the hearts of many with her compassionate nature and generous heart. Gladys had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, offering support and friendship that left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Her family and friends will forever cherish the memories they created together, remembering her as a guiding light, a confidante, and a source of endless encouragement. As we reflect on her life, we celebrate the moments that brought joy and warmth into the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Funeral services will be held on October 20, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home - Dallas (Allene), starting at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to join together to honor her life and contributions. Following the service, Gladys will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, with the burial commencing at 1:30 PM.
Although she has departed from this world, Gladys Eugene Jones’ legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved her. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
