Born on November 8, 1945, in Homer, Louisiana, Glendia’s journey was marked by the strength and grace with which she navigated life and touched the hearts of those who knew her.

Glendia’s roots were firmly planted in the rich soil of Homer, Louisiana—a place that shaped the compassionate and resilient woman she became. From her earliest days, she was known for her warmth, her thoughtful perspective, and her enduring kindness. Her life’s journey eventually brought her to Dallas, Texas, where she continued to exemplify these treasured qualities.

Throughout her years, Glendia was a beacon of stability and integrity. She faced each stage of life with quiet courage and gratitude for both its joys and its trials. Glendia's presence was a source of comfort and encouragement to friends and acquaintances alike, and her memory will remain a cherished blessing for all who had the privilege of knowing her.

To honor the life and legacy of Glendia Gail Brown, visitation will be held on August 28, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on August 29, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM at the same location.
