GLORIA ANN THOMAS

GLORIA ANN THOMAS, a beloved member of her community and cherished matriarch of her family, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, at the age of 71, in Dallas, Texas. Born on January 3, 1954, in Waxahachie, Texas, Gloria touched the lives of many with her vibrant personality and her unwavering kindness.

Gloria was known for her feisty spirit and her sociable nature. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, having never met a stranger, and her caring demeanor made her a beloved friend and confidante to many. Those fortunate enough to know her would often speak of her strength and determination, as she was known to be both strong-willed and outgoing. Her love for music and her passion for singing brought joy to countless gatherings, and her talent in the kitchen made her home a warm and welcoming place for family and friends alike.

Above all, Gloria's heart belonged to her family. She lived for her husband, children, and granddaughter, devoting herself wholeheartedly to the love and care of those closest to her. Her legacy of love will undoubtedly be carried on by her family, who will forever treasure the memories created during joyful moments spent together.

A visitation in honor of Gloria Ann Thomas will be held on August 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Her funeral service will follow on August 16, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the same location.
