GREGORY DWAYNE ANDERSON

March 25, 1981 — February 20, 2026

Gregory Dwayne Anderson, a beloved soul, departed this world on February 20, 2026, at the age of 44, leaving behind an indelible legacy wrapped in laughter and love. Born on March 25, 1981, in Dallas, Texas, Gregory's presence on this earth was marked by a spirit that was both funny and caring, a big teddy bear of a man with an extraordinarily generous heart.

His journey through life was characterized by roles that he embraced wholeheartedly. As a home caregiver to his grandfather, Gregory extended warmth and compassion for many years, showcasing his empathetic nature. Coupled with his work in auto body repair, Gregory honed a skillset that revealed not only his practical talents but also his patience and devotion to ensuring the well-being of others. His proudest accomplishments were not measured in success but rather in the loving care he provided for his family, a responsibility he bore with immense pride.

Gregory's education unfolded at Bryan Adams High School and later at Eastfield Community College, shaping not only his intellect but also fostering connections that would serve him and others throughout his life. His hobbies brought joy to many; whether he was immersing himself in video games, expressing his creativity through drawing, relishing moments of family time, or indulging in his passion for shopping, Gregory filled the lives around him with vibrancy. He cherished parties with his family, where his infectious laughter and engaging spirit resonated.

Family was everything to Gregory. He is survived by his dear aunt, Beverly Pegram, brothers Anthony Anderson, Chadrick Anderson and Julius Gilmore, nieces Amber Anderson, Morgan Brooks and Erma (Boo) Swanson, cousins Thailor, Tia, Thaila, and Tianna Charoenpon. Their bonds serve as a testament to the warm hugs and shared laughter they experienced together and the memories that will continue to bring a smile.

On the other side, he rejoins his beloved parents, Augusta James and Paula Marie Anderson, whose nurturing spirits shaped him into the extraordinary man he became. He also reunites with his grandparents, Tommie and Erma Morgan, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. Together, they will support him with eternal love, a heavenly connection that cannot be severed.

As family and friends congregate to celebrate Gregory's vibrant life, they will gather for a viewing at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on March 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a heartfelt funeral service on March 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
