ELDER GREGORY D. SPENCER

Elder Gregory Donald Spencer was born on September 25,1961 and passed away on January 27, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy marked by his outgoing personality and dedication to his family and friends.

Gregory was not only a loving husband but also a devoted father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. His strong ties to family were evident in every aspect of his life, always making time for those he cherished. Athletically gifted, Gregory attended James Madison High School in Dallas, Texas, where he excelled in football, track, and swimming, graduating as part of the class of 1980. He then continued his football journey at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he further developed his skills and passion for the sport. A true fan at heart, he supported the Dallas Cowboys with unwavering loyalty throughout his life.

A viewing will be held on February 6, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on February 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Full Gospel Holy Temple, situated at 39727 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway, Dallas, TX 75237.
