Friends and family gather to reflect upon the vibrant life of Gwynette Lashone Warren, who embraced her journey from Mexia, Texas, where she was born on September 15, 1969, to Dallas, where she took her final breath on July 3, 2025. Gwynette, a beacon of tenacity and spirit, leaves an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Known for her straightforwardness, friendliness, and feisty personality, she lit up every room she entered, confidently sharing her thoughts and laughter.

Her love for her niece and nephew was boundless, a reflection of the warmth that characterized her interactions with all family members. Each gathering around the table or at celebratory events became an opportunity for Gwynette to express her affection, her laughter resonating like music amidst the clinking of glasses and the spirited exchanges of family tales.

As we gather to commemorate Gwynette’s life, we invite all those who loved her to join us at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. A viewing will be held on July 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, offering a space for reflection and remembrance. On July 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM, we will celebrate her legacy during the funeral service, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home, John Chapel.
