Helen Faye Clark, born on January 28, 1945, in Roxton, Texas, departed this life on June 16, 2026, in DeSoto, Texas, leaving behind a legacy woven with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. A woman of extraordinary character, Helen was much more than a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother — she was a steadfast protector of her family, a beacon of comfort and kindness whose presence truly transcended the ordinary.
Helen retired from Texas Instruments, a chapter of her life marked by dedication and diligence, but it was in her role within her family that she found her greatest pride and joy. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were not just family; they were her proudest accomplishments, a testament to a life lived with selflessness and a heart willing to go above and beyond. To know Helen was to understand the depth of her care—a caring soul who loved beautiful things and brought an innate sense of grace to everything she touched.
Humor was one of Helen’s most captivating qualities. She had a great sense of humor that illuminated every room she entered, yet beneath her light-heartedness was a woman you quickly realized was not to be played with—her strength and protectiveness were as fierce as her love was boundless. She was comforting and generous, always extending herself for those she held dear.
Helen embraced life with vitality and charm; her passions included dancing, shopping, singing, and a devotion to keeping order with a very organized and neat touch. These hobbies painted a picture of a vibrant woman who found joy in the simple and beautiful pleasures of life.
Her family remains a living tribute to her enduring spirit. She is survived by her sons Vincent Clark and his wife Emily, Bryant Clark and his wife Laretha, as well as her daughter Tasha Clark. Her legacy extends through her grandchildren—Doneshia Clark, Brenda Clark, Bryant Clark Jr., Zion Clark, Egypt, Chanan, Danielle, Dawaine Clark, Dawailan Clark, Aaliyah Clark, and Dajah Clark—and her great-grandchildren Elokai, Carissa, Arionna, Jordan, and Cameron. Helen also leaves behind her beloved sisters, May Pearl Mackey and Martha Higgs, along with a host of other family members and friends who will treasure her memory.
Services to honor Helen’s remarkable life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. A viewing will be held on June 23, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM. The funeral service will take place the next day, June 24, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at the same location on 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas.
Helen was preceded in death by her devoted husband, R.L. Clark, who shared with her a lifetime of memories and love. Though she has passed, the imprint of Helen Faye Clark’s compassion, humor, and indomitable spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those lucky enough to have known her.
In celebrating Helen’s life, we remember a woman who gave herself freely, who protected and comforted with fierce love, and who faced life with an unyielding grace. She was truly one of a kind, and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who carry her story forward.
