IDA MCNEAIL

November 7, 1944 — March 5, 2021

Ida Lee McNeail was born November 7, 1944 to Adipha Wells and Minnie Page in Foley, Alabama. She attended Arronville High School. She soon left her life there in Alabama and moved to Omaha, NE where she met Willie Floyd McNeail and was married on March 7, 1968. To this union five children were born. Ida held many positions in the work force but found her home at Omaha Public Schools Transportation Department where she worked for 34 years until she retired in 2011. She found her church home at Gethsemane Church of God and Christ where she was the head of the hospitality department for over 31 years. Ida moved to Texas with her family in 2016 and began building relationships with many people. She found her church home at New Birth Baptist Church. She truly loved each and every one of her family members. Family sticking together meant everything to her. She loved being around her family whether it was celebrations, cook outs, outings, reunions, or phone calls. She also made a good friend who also had a scooter and helped her to explore Fort Worth. At any giving time you can see these ladies getting their roll on. Thank you Sandra. She was preceded in death by her sons Willie F. Jr and Vincent E. McNeail. More recently, her husband Willie F. McNeail. She leaves to cherish her life, four sisters, daughters Jeanette McNeail; Anissa (Buffy)(Delton) Ross; all of Fort Worth, Texas; son Leonard McNeail of Omaha, Nebraska; nine grandchildren LaShanda , Jozette , Kashik , Janaye , Shamika, D.C., Charnise, DeLon, Chelsea and 19 great grand children. She also had a host of family and friends.
