IRENE MARIE JOHNSON

Irene Marie Johnson, a beloved soul whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on December 5, 1942, Irene carried with her a spirit of love and compassion that graced everyone she encountered throughout her life.

She was more than just a name; she was a beacon of light for her family and friends, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a comforting word. Irene had an innate ability to see the beauty in the world around her and inspire others to do the same. Her laughter could brighten the darkest of days, and her gentle wisdom guided many through life’s challenges.

Irene's life will be celebrated with a viewing at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on August 26, 2025, from 12:00 to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at New Friendship Missionary Baptist Church on August 27, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM. These events will honor her memory and the indelible mark she left on our hearts.

As we gather to remember Irene, we are reminded of the countless memories we shared with her, the lessons learned, and the love that will forever remain in our hearts.
