Irene was a God-fearing woman whose devotion to the church defined much of her journey. She was actively engaged in her faith community, always ready to lend a hand and serve others with a kind and generous spirit. Her outgoing nature made her a beacon of warmth and comfort to all who knew her.

Beyond her spiritual commitments, Irene was known for her talents in the kitchen, bringing joy through the meals she lovingly prepared. Her nurturing soul extended beyond her culinary gifts; she devoted herself to the care of elderly individuals and children alike, offering compassion and care that spoke deeply of her character.

Those wishing to honor her memory may attend the visitation on May 8, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas, TX 75224. The funeral service will take place on May 9, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM at the Greater Community First Baptist Church, 2828 West Camp Wisdom Road, Dallas, TX 75237, with the service concluding by noon.
