J. B. Malone Jr., a cherished soul whose vivacious spirit and warm heart touched all who knew him, passed away on April 25, 2026, in his beloved hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. Born on June 5, 1964, in the same city where he spent his life, J. B. was a beacon of joy and generosity, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

From an early age, J. B. displayed a magnetic personality that drew people to him. Known for his ever-present smile and quick wit, he was truly a jokester at heart, always ready to lift spirits with a clever remark or lighthearted banter. His outgoing nature made him a beloved friend and companion to many, and his friendliness was as genuine as it was contagious. He shared his warmth freely, touching the lives of those around him with kindness and a giving heart.

J. B.’s passions were as vibrant as his personality. He loved to sing, especially rapping, and dance with an infectious enthusiasm that lit up any room. Music was not just a hobby but a joyful expression of his soul. Alongside his love for rhythm and movement, he had simple yet profound pleasures — a fondness for Dr. Pepper and pastries was well known among family and friends, a small but endearing detail that highlighted his zest for life’s sweeter moments.

His high school days were marked by athletic spirit and camaraderie as he played football, a testament to his energetic and spirited nature. However, above all, J. B. held a deep place in his heart for family, especially his nieces and nephews. Their happiness and well-being meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them, fostering bonds that will forever remain treasured.

His favorite past time was the 4th of July family reunion, held in Sulphur Springs.   

The community will gather to honor and remember J. B. Malone Jr. with Wake Service on May 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas, followed by a Funeral Service the next day, May 14, 2026, noon to 1:00 PM at Mitchell Blvd Church of Christ, also in Fort Worth.

J. B.’s life was a radiant tapestry of joy, humor, generosity, and love. Though he has departed from this world, his spirit remains alive in every smile he inspired, every joke he shared, every song he sang, and every dance he danced. Those who were fortunate to know him carry forward his light, forever warmed by the memory of a man who truly lived life to its fullest and loved it deeply.

Rest in peace, dear J. B. Malone Jr. Your laughter echoes in our hearts, your kindness guides our ways, and your spirit dances eternally in the rhythms of time. You are deeply missed and forever loved.
