Jacquelyn Ross, a cherished figure known for her warmth and unwavering positivity, passed away on February 8, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Born on May 6, 1943, in Hughes Springs, Texas, Jacquelyn dedicated her life to serving others and embraced every moment with an infectious spirit that made her beloved by all who knew her.
Throughout her career as a technician at Rockwell International, Jacquelyn exemplified dedication and hard work, earning the respect of her colleagues and peers. Yet, it was her personality that truly shone through. A ray of sunshine, she was always positive and realistic, never meeting a stranger. Her service-minded approach to life meant that she always prioritized others, making those around her feel special.
Jacquelyn was deeply rooted in her faith and loved the Lord passionately. She spent countless hours sharing her spirituality with anyone who would listen, serving as a Sunday school teacher, evangelist, and missionary. Her outreach work and role as a mother figure to many in her community left an indelible mark on countless lives.
Outside of her remarkable service to others, Jacquelyn found joy in various hobbies, including gardening, reading, and solving crossword puzzles. Her creative talents also extended to decorating, a pursuit she thoroughly enjoyed.
Her proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly centered around her family, particularly being the only girl among her brothers. Jacquelyn took great pride in nurturing and supporting her family, creating bonds that would last a lifetime.
A visitation will be held on February 19, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. Her funeral service will take place the following day, February 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Freedom M.B.C., also in Dallas. Jacquelyn will be laid to rest on February 24, 2026, with a burial at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 9:30 AM.
Jacquelyn Ross will be remembered as a beacon of hope, kindness, and unwavering faith, weaving a tapestry of love that connected all those fortunate enough to cross her path. Her legacy will continue to inspire others to live with positivity and a spirit of service.
