Jakayla Turner, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend, was born on January 14, 2001, in Dallas, Texas. Unfortunately, her journey with us came to an unexpected end on November 7, 2025, when she passed away in her hometown of Dallas.
Throughout her life, Jakayla was known for her vibrant personality and her sweet disposition. She had a remarkable ability to share how she felt with those around her, always bringing warmth and comfort to her loved ones. Her caring nature, coupled with her quiet and laid-back demeanor, endeared her to many. Jakayla's infectious smile brightened the lives of those who knew her, making every moment spent with her a cherished memory.
Jakayla was not just defined by her kindness but also by her passions and interests. She pursued an education in nursing, aspiring to make a difference in the lives of others. A proud big sister, she took great joy in her role and was always ready to support her siblings. In her free time, Jakayla enjoyed gaming under the name "Savage K," playing basketball, and running track. She also had a profound appreciation for food of all kinds, often sharing meals and laughter with family and friends.
Her family and friends are invited to gather to honor and celebrate Jakayla's life during a visitation on November 19, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. This will be followed by a funeral service on November 20, 2025, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home. The details for both services are as follows:
