JASON AHMAD RASHAD DAVIS

Jan 22, 1986 — Oct 19, 2026

Jason Ahmad Rashad Davis, lovingly known as “Lil One,” was born on January 22, 1986, in Dallas, Texas, and departed this life on October 19, 2026. He leaves behind a presence that was impossible to overlook and a spirit that will not soon be forgotten.

Jason was a graduate of James Madison High School. He was known as a man of strength and conviction, someone who meant what he said and said what he meant. Funny, resilient, direct, loving, strong, and confident, he moved through life in a way that made an impression on everyone around him. He was very well dressed, carried himself with unmistakable style, and brought his own energy wherever he went.

He loved his family deeply, and that love showed in the way he gave of himself, especially to his son, nieces and nephews. Jason worked in the church and carried with him a survivor’s testimony that spoke to the core of who he was. His proud declaration, “God’s got me, I am a soldier,” reflected the courage and faith with which he faced life. He loved listening to music, spending time with his friends and in the neighborhood, and enjoying sports, especially track and football. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, loved good food—especially barbecue—and was known as a domino specialist. So many who knew him carry a “Lil One” story, a memory marked by laughter, honesty, and the unforgettable way he made his presence known. He was loved by all.

Jason’s memory will be cherished by his son, Kenneth Williams; his mother, Felicia White; his father, Kenneth Cannon; his brothers, Keena Davis and Brittney, and Lewis Davis and Ashley; and his grandmother, Mary Ann Davis. In their lives, his love, humor, and strength will remain a lasting part of the family story, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Georgia Ford; his grandfathers, Marcellos Davis and Ralph Bailey; his aunts, Ruthie Austin and Gloria Onick; and his uncles, Chester Davis, James Davis, and Adolphus Davis.
