It is with solemn respect and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Jay D. Carson, who left us on May 26, 2026. Born on September 20, 1970, Jay lived a vibrant and devoted life marked by his outgoing nature and unwavering dedication to those he loved and cared for.

Jay was a truly genuine person—patient, loving, and dependable. Those who knew him were often reminded of the saying, “no one can cover for Jay.” Whether the task was big or small, Jay approached it with the certainty that it would be completed with care and thoroughness. His reliability and commitment were hallmarks of his character, reflecting a man who valued responsibility and loyalty above all.

His warmth and spirit extended far beyond his work ethic. Jay enjoyed spending time shopping, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. As a passionate fan of the San Francisco 49ers, he shared his enthusiasm and camaraderie with fellow fans, a testament to his love for community and connection.

Jay was much more than his achievements and hobbies; he was a loving fiancé, a devoted father, a beloved son, an uncle who cherished family ties, a cousin, and a loyal friend. Each of these roles he embraced with sincerity and heart, enriching the lives of all who were fortunate to know him.

The family and friends of Jay D.Carson will gather to honor his memory at a viewing on June 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas, 75224. The funeral service will follow on June 6, 2026, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the same location
