Jesus Jonathan Cruz, a beloved family man born on May 3, 1982, in Monclova, Coahuila, embarked on his final journey on January 26, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. He was 43 years old and leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and an indomitable spirit that brought joy to all who knew him.

A dedicated sales professional for an investment company, Jesus approached life with a genuine enthusiasm that resonated throughout his career. His personality shone brightly, described as goofy and a beacon of light, he was full of laughter, ready to fill any room with warmth and positivity. His selflessness and caring nature endeared him particularly to his grandmother and elderly aunts, who were often the recipients of his unwavering devotion. Jesus was also known for his childlike wonder, always dreaming big and embodying the essence of a giver who put God first in every aspect of his life.

His interests were diverse, a true embodiment of a multi-faceted individual. A passionate gamer and an avid Star Wars fan, he also delighted in singing and building arcade machines. His proudest accomplishment—trading a broken Xbox up to a Camaro—reflected not just his knack for adventure but also his enterprising spirit.

At the heart of Jesus's life was his cherished family. He is survived by his loving wife, Lirise Cruz, and his three adoring children, Eileen, Emily, and Ethan Cruz. His parents, Jesus and Gloria Cruz, along with his brothers, Eder Cruz (Raquel) and Abdiel Cruz, continue to carry his memory, weaving the tapestry of their lives with treasured moments and stories that speak to his character.

A Celebration of Life will take place on January 30, 2026, at Ciudad de Esperanza in Farmers Branch, Texas, starting at 6:00 PM, concluding with an evening of remembering and honoring all that Jesus brought to our lives. He will then be laid to rest at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens in Grand Prairie, Texas, on January 31, 2026, beginning at 10:30 AM.
