Reverend Jimmie Lewis

Jimmie Lewis, a beloved member of the community, passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on April 18, 1949, Jimmie's life was characterized by his loving, caring, and happy nature, which touched the lives of many who had the privilege to know him.

Throughout his life, Jimmie exemplified the virtues of kindness and compassion, forging deep connections with family, friends, and neighbors alike. His warm smile and gentle spirit brought joy to those around him, making him a cherished figure in the hearts of many.

Family, friends, and the community are invited to celebrate Jimmie's life at a funeral service to be held on August 10, 2025, at St Luke Baptist Church, located at Shaw St, Refugio, TX 78377. The service will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM. Following the memorial, Jimmie will be laid to rest at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, TX, on August 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with a brief service ending at noon.

Jimmie Lewis leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure in the memories of all who knew him. His spirit will forever remain a guiding light in our lives.
