The final rites to honor Joann’s remarkable life will take place at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas. A viewing will be held on August 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Prayer Service starting at 7:15 PM. Family, friends, and all whose lives she touched are invited to come together to celebrate her life and share in their collective remembrance of her profound impact.

On August 16, at 11:00 AM, a Funeral Service will be held at the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, embracing the spirit of community that Joann held dear. The following day, friends and family will gather once more to pay final respects during her burial at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, commencing at 10:30 AM.
