JOE DOTSON

Joe (J.D.) Dotson Joe dell Dotson was born July 18, 1934 to Mr. Ike Dotson Sr. and Mary Jane Richardson-Dotson in Mooringsport, Louisiana. Joe was married to Clementene G. Dotson. He worked for Austin Steel for many years until retirement. He loved to do carpentry work. He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife Clementene G. Dotson, son Tony Hill, four brothers, Moe Dotson, L.T. Dotson, Ike Dotson Jr., and Wilson Dotson, one sister Matilda Young, and one aunt Gracie Williams. He leaves to cherish his memories: nine children James Lee, Jonathan (Don) Dotson, Bryan Hill, Aletha Zollicoffer-Williams (Marcus), Alex Zollicoffer, Derrick Dotson, LaTonya Dotson, Natricia Willis, Alonzo Hurd; one sister Gladys Battee; twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and host nieces and nephews.
