JOHN MARTIN ALMANZA

August 20, 1976 — January 24, 2026

John M. Almanza, fondly referred to as Pelon and Manitas, was a devoted husband and a cherished father, leaving behind the love of his life for over nine years, as well as six beautiful children: Esteisy, Juan V, Roy, Bentley, Julianna (affectionately known as Chucky), and John Fernando (Peanut). His legacy will carry on through their laughter and memories.

Born in the vibrant city of Dallas, Texas, and raised in the heart of Lovefield, John's spirit was woven into the very fabric of his community. With ties stretching between Dallas, Laredo, and Matehula SLP, he touched the lives of many, creating bonds that transcended borders. The son of Felix “Nacho” Almanza and Margarita Lopez, John was a beacon of kindness, always ready to extend a helping hand to those around him.

A true fanatic of the Dallas Cowboys, John's passion mirrored the strong character he embodied throughout his life. He had a remarkable strength, yet his warm spirit and sweet soul endeared him to all who knew him. John's life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering support, traits that will forever resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.

As we remember John, let us celebrate the joy he brought into our lives, honoring his memory by continuing to share that love and kindness he exemplified every day.
