JOHN KENNETH MILES

November 10, 1956 — October 5, 2025

John Kenneth Miles, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on November 10, 1956, John lived a vibrant life characterized by his outgoing personality and his deep commitment to family and community.

Throughout his life, John was known for his infectious humor and jovial spirit. He embraced every opportunity to bring joy to those around him, leaving a trail of laughter in his wake. A true jokester at heart, he had a unique ability to lighten even the darkest of days with his quick wit and charm.

A smooth dresser who took great care in his appearance, John not only looked good but had an innate sense of style that reflected his vibrant personality. He enjoyed the finer things in life and believed that one should always strive to look and smell their best.

John was deeply committed to his community, particularly through his role as a coach at the YMCA, where he passionately organized sports for youth. His love for children was evident in his dedication to helping them thrive, both in sports and in life. He was a godsend to many, always willing to lend a helping hand and provide encouragement.

John was also a lover of dogs, sharing his life with four-legged companions who brought him joy and comfort. He believed in the importance of physical health and maintained a rigorous workout routine, often claiming that if one were to look up a "picture of health," it would feature him.

In addition to his various passions, John had a love for travel and enjoyed watching all sports, displaying an enthusiasm that was contagious. His outgoing nature made it easy for him to connect with others, as he would engage in conversation with anyone he met.

John was a faithful member of St. John Church Unleashed, under the guidance of Pastor Denny Davis, where he found solace and support among his fellow congregants. His faith was an integral part of his life and influenced all his endeavors.
