JOHN CHRISTOPHER REAGAN

With heavy hearts and cherished memories, the family of John Christopher Reagan announces his peaceful passing on August 22, 2026, in Richardson, Texas. Born on October 25, 1954, in El Paso, Texas, John lived a life marked by adventure and laughter.

John grew up surrounded by a tight-knit family, attending Lake Highland High School and graduating with the class of 1972. From a young age, he possessed a spark—an undeniable zest for living life fully, often on the edge, and always in the pursuit of joy. This spirit carried him forward and became the bedrock of the remarkable man he was known to be: fun, carefree, the life of every gathering, and truly outgoing. His daredevil nature and love for excitement lit up every room and fueled his many passions.

A master craftsman and carpenter by trade, John's hands told stories through every piece of furniture and intricate woodwork he crafted. He poured his heart and talent into his work, taking immense pride in every project. To those who admired his creations, they were not merely wood and nails, but tangible pieces of John’s creativity, dedication, and pride.

John’s interests reflected his zest for life. He was a passionate NASCAR fan, exhilarated by the thrill of the race. Motorcycles and remote control cars filled his leisure hours with delight and camaraderie, while time spent boating and soaking in the serene beauty of the lake brought him peace. He was the master chef of every gathering—especially when it came to steak—sharing his culinary gifts with family and friends.

Nothing, however, brought John more joy or pride than his family. He is survived by his loving daughters, Amanda Yanez (Johnny)  and Kendra Reagan. John’s legacy is further carried on in the lives of his grandchildren:  Copper Reagan, Arianna Yanez, Tre Yanez, Christopher Wynn, Lincoln Wynn, Vivian Wynn, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Their laughter, achievements, and kindness are testaments to the love and lessons he shared.

John's spirited presence will be dearly missed by his siblings: Heather Renshaw (Rob), Ginny Reyes (Tony), Margaret Clench (Barry), and  Brenda Longoria( Joe ) . His family circle spans far and wide, each member touched uniquely by his wit, warmth, and unforgettable sense of adventure.

He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Heather Reagan, and his cherished son, Christopher Reagan. Though their absence leaves an irreplaceable void, the memories and love they shared remain eternal.

John Christopher Reagan leaves behind more than memories—his joyful, daring heart and masterful touch live on in the stories retold, the laughter remembered, and the skilled workings of his hands that endure. He inspired all who knew him to live a little more boldly and to cherish the moments, big and small.

John’s family and friends will gather to celebrate his remarkable life and legacy. Service details are forthcoming and will be shared with all who wish to honor and remember this extraordinary man.

Though he has taken his final ride, John’s spirit races on, forever loved and never forgotten.
