Johny Krantz, a cherished member of the Wylie community and dedicated educator, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2022, at the age of 73. Born on September 14, 1948, Johny devoted over 30 years of his life to Wylie Independent School District, where he touched the hearts and minds of countless students. His commitment to education went beyond the classroom; he was known for his loving and caring nature, as well as his strong family-oriented values.
Johny was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a particular fondness for watching Westerns, often using this shared interest to connect with friends and family. His ability to engage with others made him a beloved figure, not just within the school district, but also among his peers and neighbors.
He is proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Estelle Krantz, with whom he shared a deep and lasting bond. Their partnership was an inspiring testament to love and support, reflecting the core qualities that Johny embodied throughout his life.
A visitation honoring Johny's life will be held on July 28, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Cross Church, located at 100 N First St, Wylie, TX 75098. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life on July 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM, also taking place at The Cross Church.
Johny Krantz’s impact on the lives of those around him will continue to resonate in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to education will be remembered fondly by all.
