JOLITA HAMPTON

August 10, 1939 — February 25, 2022

Janice Jolita Hampton was  born August 10, 1939 in Mineral Wells, TX to the late James and Edith Barnes. Jolita passed away at home on February 25, 2022. After a courageous battle with progressive supranuclear palsy and mantel cell lymphoma surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Jolita had a passion for traveling and enjoyed many trips with her husband and family. She also loved working in her flowerbeds and watching the birds at her many feeders.

Jolita is survived by her husband, Earlieve Hampton; children, Scott Stogner and wife, Christine, Kimberly Stanford and husband, Mike, Sheila Bryant and husband, Gene; stepchildren, Alecia Hampton, Earlieve Hampton Jr., Shandrea Parks and husband, Gary, Rashad Hampton and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She will also be missed by  a host of relatives and friends. Jolita was preceded in death by her stepson, Eric Hampton.
