JOSHUA NELSON

Joshua Nelson, born on August 22, 1939, passed away on September 4, 2026.

He will be remembered for his life’s work as a truck driver, a role that reflected dedication, endurance, and responsibility. Through that work, he spent years meeting the demands of the road and providing through steady commitment.

Joshua is survived by his wife, Dorothy Nelson, who shared his life and remained an important part of his story. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.

A viewing for Joshua Nelson will be held on September 15, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, 4155 S. R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75224. Funeral services will be held on September 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 4535 Vandervort Drive, Dallas, Texas 75216.
