JOYCE MARIE BASSETT

Joyce Bassett, born on July 28, 1952, in Snook, Texas, passed away peacefully at her residence in Fort Worth on July 18, 2025. She was a beloved figure to all who knew her, reflecting a life rich in compassion, warmth, and strong principles.

Joyce had a deep-seated love for family, cherishing every moment spent with those closest to her. Her vibrant personality extended beyond her familial bonds; she held an unwavering passion for politics and was a dedicated reader, often immersing herself in literature that inspired her worldview. Those who knew Joyce recognized her faith in the Lord as a guiding force throughout her life, shaping her interactions and her perspective.

Joyce also had a unique appreciation for the simple pleasures in life, such as the soothing sound of thunder during rainstorms and her fondness for action movies. These cherished interests were often shared in the company of friends and family, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and warmth. 

 A graveside service will be held on July 25, 2025, commencing at 12:00 PM at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Arlington, Texas.

Joyce Bassett's life was a testament to love, faith, and a commitment to community. Her spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she loved, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
