JOYCE ANN BLACKNALL

Joyce Ann Blacknall, born on January 20, 1956, peacefully passed away on January 3, 2026. A dedicated member of her community, Joyce was a beacon of light and joy to all who knew her. Her vibrant personality and unwavering dedication to her family and church enriched the lives of many.

Joyce was an outgoing spirit, always with a smile on her face. She found immense joy in making others laugh and never hesitated to share a good joke. As a devoted Director of Ushers, she enjoyed welcoming others into her church family at Greater Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, where she served with grace and dedication. Her straightforward nature allowed her to connect with people deeply, and she approached every situation with honesty and kindness.

Joyce was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and cousin. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and it was evident to everyone that her loved ones meant the world to her. She forged strong bonds with each person, often going above and beyond to ensure they felt valued and loved.

The services honoring Joyce's remarkable life will take place at Greater Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. A wake Service will begin on January 16, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM followed by the Funeral Service the next day, January 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Joyce will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery on the same day.
