JT WESLEY

JT Wesley was born June 15, 1935 to the parents of Edward Wesley and Lorene Strode Wesley in Tyler, TX.

Early in life he confessed his faith and hope in Jesus Christ at Liberty Baptist Church of Tyler, TX. JT attended Booker T. Washington High School of Dallas, TX. He later obtained his GED and joined the military. JT worked and retired from Tier Plating Company. His hobbies were gardening, working on electronics and cars.

He united in Holy Matrimony to Edith Laverne Thomas; daughter and son-in-law, Shira (Eldridge “Jeff”) Jefferson; parents, Edward and Lorene Strode Wesley; four brothers, Marvin, Edward “Eddie”, Charles Ray and Lewis; two sisters, Nettie Faye and Margaret Joyce preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Betty Jordan; four grandchildren, Keith Kellam, Malaika McClendon, Mychanee’ Jefferson and Marston Jefferson; six great grandchildren, Xavier, Keyana, Makaila, Ariel, Keitron and Layla; one sister, Anna Jean (Robert) Davis, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; Special Friend, Nettie Lee Roquemore preceded him in death.
