KAREN ELAINE ROBINSON

Karen E. Robinson (nee Searle), age 66, of Lancaster, TX passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at her home. Born in Mt. Holly to the late Howard M. and Gladys M. (Hopkins) Searle, Karen was raised in Hopewell, NJ. She was a graduate of Kingsway Regional High School, class of 1977 and a graduate of Chester County School of Nursing, class of 1980. She was a devoted nurse at Parkland Health for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gregory A. Robinson and her sister, Beverly J. (Searle) Preston. She is survived by her 2 sons, George and Lawrence “Larry” Richardsen; Her brother Gary B. (Darlene) Searle; Her niece, Amanda Searle and nephew Gary Searle, Jr.; and brother-in-law G. Laine (LeAnn) Robinson. She was the dear friend of Vincent McKenzie. Karen will also be missed by her dog, Eli. She was a die-hard Cowboys fan, and cherished her family and friends and had a genuine love for people. She was a voice against social injustices while fighting her own battle with MS. Karen made an impact on everyone she knew and she will be greatly missed.
