Karri Kartik Viswanath Jr., affectionately known as "Nookie G," passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026. Born on January 9, 1994, Karri brought warmth, laughter, and light into the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His loving nature, kind heart, and ever-present bright smile were a beacon of joy that touched everyone around him.

Karri’s life was marked by a unique blend of humor and kindness that made him not only a cherished friend but also a beloved family member. Those who knew him will remember his quick wit and infectious laughter, qualities that could brighten even the darkest of days. He carried a warmth in his spirit that made friends feel like family, and family feel cherished beyond words.

He had a deep passion for fishing, finding solace and peace by the water’s edge, where he could reflect and unwind. Karri’s love extended profoundly to his nieces and nephews, with whom he enjoyed countless hours of play and companionship, creating bonds that will be deeply missed yet forever treasured. A lifelong reader, Karri’s curiosity and love for stories enriched his world, allowing him to share wisdom and insight with a gentle touch.

To honor and remember Karri, a series of services have been arranged, each providing an opportunity to celebrate his life and legacy. A visitation will be held on April 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the visitation, a wake will take place at the same location from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, offering a spiritual moment for all who wish to gather in remembrance.

The funeral service will be held on April 11, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM at Samaria Baptist Church, 4000 East Berry Street, Fort Worth, TX 76105. This heartfelt gathering will be a time for sharing memories, stories, and reflections of Karri’s beautiful journey. His final resting place will be at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, TX. The burial ceremony is scheduled for April 11, 2026, beginning at 3:00 PM with the grounds located at 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.

Though his time with us was too brief, the legacy of Karri Kartik Viswanath Jr. remains vibrantly alive in the hearts of those he loved. His kindness, joy, and laughter are gifts he leaves behind, guiding and inspiring those who continue to walk this world without him.
