It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of KEITH A.HOLLIE, a cherished soul who departed this life on January 8, 2026, in Richardson, Texas. Born on June 10, 1958, in Thibodaux, Louisiana, Keith lived a life marked by love, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to his family and work.
Keith’s career in security at USMD Hospital was not just a job but a reflection of his caring and considerate personality. He approached every day with reserve, yet he always managed to instill warmth in the hearts of those around him. A proud graduate of Norwood University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business, Keith epitomized the belief that education is a lifelong journey. His love for technology shone brightly, as he delighted in the latest gadgets and shared those moments with his beloved grandchildren, Isaiah and Eva Hollie. Shopping trips became joyful adventures, filled with laughter and an abundance of love.
He took great pride in his family, often reflecting on his grandparenting experiences with a heart full of joy. The bond he created with his grandchildren was a testament to his generous spirit—he was always their biggest fan, a kind of superhero in their lives who took the time to watch action movies with them, eagerly joining in on their excitement.
In life's tapestry, Keith was woven into the lives of many. He leaves behind a devoted son, Keith L. Hollie, and a caring daughter-in-law, Angela Hollie. His spirited sisters, Cheryl Herbert, Rochelle Hollie, and Janice W. Moses (Henry), along with his brother, Kernan R. Hollie (Sara), will hold his memory close, as will a vast network of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, each touched by Keith's genuine and profound warmth.
Keith is reunited in spirit with his late mother, Mary Hollie, and his two sisters, Margaret Noah and Bessie Mae Clements, who surely welcomed him with open arms. As we gather to honor his legacy, we invite friends and family to partake in the services that will be held on January 24, 2026, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas. The viewing will commence at 9:00 AM, followed by a heartfelt funeral service at 1:00 PM.
In his departure, Keith has left us with a remembrance of kindness, a reminder of the beauty of family, and an example of how to embrace life with both joy and compassion. May his legacy continue to inspire us all to cherish those we love and to extend a helping hand to those in need.
