KELVIN LEE THOMAS

Kelvin Lee Thomas, a devoted entrepreneur and esteemed owner of a beloved restaurant, passed away on February 7, 2026, in Rockwall, Texas. Born on July 17, 1963, in Dallas, he was a cherished member of his community and a respected figure in the culinary world.

Kelvin was a proud graduate of Kimball High School, Class of 1981, where he laid the foundation for a life rich in ambition and perseverance. With a passion for food and hospitality, he dedicated himself to building a restaurant that brought joy and comfort to many. His work not only exemplified his entrepreneurial spirit but also reflected his deep care for the people he served.

He leaves behind his loving parents, Elvin Thomas and Lillie Rose Richardson Thomas, as well as his siblings, children, grandchildren, and an extended family of relatives and friends. Their lives were enriched by his compassion, humor, and unwavering support.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kelvin’s life. A viewing will be held on February 19, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. This will be followed by a funeral service on February 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, situated at 1808 West Camp Wisdom Road, Dallas, TX 75232.
