Oh, what a joyous day it was on March 10, 1955 when Earl l Grant and Mary Grant welcomed the arrival of their handsome Son Kenneth Ray Grant. He traded his old life for his new one on March 24, 2021 bidding loved ones and this old world.
He met and married a wonderful warm and loving wife Deborah. Even though he did not have any children of his own he called his wife's children “TOKENS OF LOVE” and “BONUS KIDS” as well.
Kenneth professed his faith in Christ at an early age. he was he was a faithful member of Beckley Heights Church of Christ Dallas, Texas.
Although Kenneth did not graduate from high school he graduated from the school of Life on March 24, 2021.
He worked at TXDOT for 15 years, Pilgrims Pride for 10 years Tamco Customs for 3 years and his last JOURNEY was at UT Southwestern Medical for 6 years and retired. His RETIREMENT was something he was looking forward to.
Kenneth will live on because he leaves to keep his Precious Memories alive through his wife Deborah; children, Lloyd Thomas Jr. of Wylie, Texas. Lanessa Thomas Finny (Fabian) of Hutchins, Texas; Brianna Thomas and Devin Thomas of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Mary Anne Grant, Patricia Smith( Jimmie), Lawanda Doss, she all of Sulphur Springs, Texas; brothers, O. L. Hawkins (Grace) Jimmy Smith, Sulphur Springs, Texas. Ted Grant (Kim) of Rockwall, Texas; Glen Grant (Ann) of Dallas, Texas; as well as grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
As hard as it may seem, he loved everyone but his Savior, who has beckoned him to come to Heaven Loved him more and after 66 years on this earth, “He Finished Early”… do not worry his parents and many others will greet him upon his arrival. The weeping may endure for the night but joy will come in the morning.
