KENNETH JAMES GREEN, a vibrant soul who graced the world with his presence, departed this life on November 10, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. Born on March 21, 1961, in Shreveport, Louisiana, he was a beacon of liveliness and humor, weaving laughter into the fabric of every conversation. His spirit, characterized by a blend of intelligence, stubbornness, and an unwavering work ethic, leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience.
Kenneth was a true master of his craft, having achieved the esteemed title of Master Upholsterer. His hands transformed visions into reality, creating beauty from fabric and wood, a testament to his dedication and skill. A skill that allowed him to customize a bed for Sam Perkins and othersYet, it was not just his workmanship that defined him; it was also the joy he took in life’s simplest pleasures—fishing on a peaceful afternoon, working on cars, or feeling the wind rush past him as he rode his motorcycle. He had an unshakeable bond with his dogs, who were not just pets, but beloved companions that shared in his many adventures.
Family was the cornerstone of Kenneth's existence. He is survived by his devoted wife, Donna Jones Green, with whom he shared laughter and life. His sons, Kenjamin Chandler and Maurice Green, and his daughter, Angela Green, carry forward his legacy of strength and humor. Stepsons, Clifton Jones and James Jones; Kenneth's love extended to his mother, Florene Green Edwards, and his siblings, Renna Camel and Shandellea Green Woodberry, who together with Kenneth's ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren, will forever cherish the memories and lessons imparted by a man who always spoke his mind with straightforward honesty.
He was preceded in death by father, Eddie James Royal and Samuel Green, brother, Samuel Green, Jr., grandparents, Jefferson Blanks, Mamie Blanks, Phillip Green and Rosie Reed Green.
As we gather to celebrate Kenneth's life, family and friends are invited to join a heartfelt "Celebration of Life" on November 20, 2025, at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas-ALLENE in Dallas, Texas, from 11:00 AM.
