KEYCA RENEE HOBBS, lovingly remembered as a beacon of strength and warmth, was born on November 26, 1966, in Dallas, Texas. This vibrant spirit left us on September 8, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience that her family and friends will cherish forever.
Keyca, a proud graduate of Carter High School, devoted over 20 years of her life to her role as a machine operator at DAP. Her work ethic and dedication were a true testament to her character. Keyca was not just a hardworking professional; she embodied the essence of community, always willing to lend a helping hand and share a smile with those around her. Her outgoing personality drew people in, making her a beloved friend to many.
Family was at the core of Keyca's life. She is survived by her devoted husband, Terrence Hobbs, Sr., and their cherished children, Terrence Hobbs, Jr. and Rodney Hobbs. Together, they created countless memories filled with laughter and love. Keyca’s passion for family was only matched by her love of photography, capturing moments that would last a lifetime. Her photographs tell the story of a life well-lived and are a testament to her ability to find beauty in everyday moments.
Keyca's bond with her siblings was equally profound. She leaves behind her brother Eric Henry and her brother Walter Wilson, Jr., who will carry forward her spirit of love and compassion.
She joins her beloved parents, Carl Fulsom and Mary Lee McCray, as well as her brother Derrick Henry, in eternal rest. Their memory will be a source of comfort and a reminder of the love that still surrounds Keyca and continues to inspire those she has left behind.
A Prayer Service will be held on September 25, 2025, at 7:15 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas (Allene), located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Keyca’s extraordinary life, to share stories, and to honor her memory.
